The Pelham Chamber of Commerce was established for the purpose of promoting economic development for the City of Pelham and Mitchell County. As the dynamics of our community continue to change with added technology and prosperous growth, our desire to meet the needs of our community never changes. We care about your business, your employees, your customers and your bottom line and most importantly we care about you. We are the Pelham Chamber of Commerce.
PELHAM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Plans, organizes, directs and controls the Chamber’s services, products, economic development and public policy activities for chamber members and responds to the needs of its members within available and agreed upon financial resources.
Developing and maintaining a collaborative working relationship between the City of Pelham and Pelham Chamber of Commerce, and other key business & public policy organizations, other regional chambers and other regional organizations to foster a nurturing business environment for members.
Assure effective communication with the Board of Directors, members, all outside stakeholders and internal staff.
Lead in other key initiatives as needed by the organization.
Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite. Work may include member recruitment information, brochure design, preparing information for the Chamber Website, PowerPoint slides for presentations, Social Media, etc….
Strong knowledge of budgeting and Quickbooks
Demonstrated organizational skills
Fund raising experience and other duties as assigned
