Built in 1908 with money donated by Scottish-American businessman and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, a personal friend of Mr. J.L. Hand one of the founding fathers of our community. The Pelham Historic Carnegie Library is one of only 24 Carnegie libraries built in Georgia. Still serving as a community library, the beautiful architecture in this historical building is a must see.
